We recognize that every pet is special and may have different taste preferences, so it may take a bit longer for some pets to get used to the new supplement. It's totally worth the effort though! Here's what you can do: a. Refrigerate the oil before serving so that the smell is less intense before serving it with your pet's food
b. Mix the salmon oil with your pet's favorite food/treats. You can mix it with eggs, tuna or her favorite treats (as long as your friend isn't allergic to any of these).
c. If the above doesn't work, try to create some positive associations: put some salmon oil on a separate plate and place it close to his normal food. Every time you give your pet food, put the salmon oil on a separate plate right next to it. This should help him to accept the new food (the salmon oil) easier and get used to it. It may require a few days to work.
